Shoes, feet inspired artwork for Lake Worth gallery - Palm Beach Post (blog)

According to a press release, guests can expect to find foot planters, shoe banks (perfect for setting aside money for a new pair of shoes!) and footprint wall hangings, all of which express the imagination and humor of the artists.

Hours: 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Sunday through Tuesday; 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. Wednesday through Saturday

The exhibit is open to the public and runs through July 2.

The gallery is operated by the Flamingo Clay Studio, a nonprofit artist co-op.

Co-op members, which consist of artists from across Palm Beach County, created pieces for the exhibit. The gallery curators assigned the theme and let the artists run with it.

“Shoe Fetish / Foot Fetish,” on display at Flamingo Clay Studio’s Clay Glass Metal Stone Gallery in downtown Lake Worth, features foot- and shoe-inspired paintings, photographs, sculptures and more.
