We hardly recognized Meg Ryan, 53, as she made the rounds at Paris Fashion Week on July 7. The iconic 90s screen star stepped out for France’s prestigious style showcase, appearing to be a whole new woman. In addition to looking skinnier than ever, Meg channeled Renee Zellweger, 46, debuting a shocking new mug.

Meg grabbed attention for her alarmingly different image: a thinner-than-normal silhouette and what appears to be some brand new facial work. After a brief breakup in August 2014, the precious pair decided to reunite to continue on their 3-year romance. “She’s an angel sent to me, and I’m very happy,” the “Jack & Diane” singer said on NBC’s Today. “And, you know, nothing’s over ’til it’s over.”

“There were disagreements over style of life and logistical problems which clouded their relationship,” a source told People at the time. “But there is no doubt that he cares for her a great deal.” And we’re sure John cares for Meg’s new look a great deal, too.

Aside from (possibly) switching up her looks over the last few years, Meg has taken advantage of her time away from the spotlight by immersing herself in a relationship with rocker, John Mellencamp, 63.

The 53-year-old, who hasn’t starred in a film since 2009’s Serious Moonlight will make her way back to the silver screen in Ithaca, (a movie she also co-directed!) set to hit theaters later this year. The project’s roster of talent also includes Hollywood heavyweights Melanie Griffith, Tom Hanks, and Jack Quaid among others.
